Preserving the Stories Within Your Clothing
My name is Jodi and I created Memory Bears of Weymouth in May of 2021. Since then I have created 1,000's of memory animals, blankets and pillows for my customers. I have been sewing and crafting since I was 15 years old. I learned to sew from my mom way back and have been sewing ever since. I am the mom of 2 grown daughters and nana to 4. I live with my husband Mike and my dogs Lucy and Ozzie and cat Daisy Jane
Losing a loved one is hard. My memory items are made to give you and your family a comforting way to remember your special person or pet. Each memory bear is created from the clothing or blanket of someone who has passed, or from items that mark a happy moment, like the birth of a child or grandchild. Take a look at my products menu and ask about special orders—if you can dream it, I can create it for you.
The Journey of Your Memory Bear
At Memory Bears of Weymouth, I take your loved ones' clothing and transform them into cherished family heirlooms. Here is the process I follow to preserve your memories.

Select Your Style
Beginning the process is simple: choosing the items, design and size that best represents your loved one's unique personality and the memories you hold dear.

Send Your Clothing
Gather your items-rule of thumb is 1 item of clothing makes 1 bear or pillow. More fabric is better. Any type of fabric can be used. Intricate fabrics (silk, lace, formal wear) require extra care and will have an additonal charge. Drop off to me in my entryway if you are local or put in a box and mail to me!

Turnaround Time
Presently, I have a 20 week turnaround time. Christmas orders will be accepted through June. In the past year, my turnaround time has increased due to a large increase in orders. Rest assured, your order will be completed, I never turn away customers

Once completed, your bea is securely returned home—now a tangible, everlasting heirloom ready to be cherished by your family for generations to come.
Jodi from Memory Bears of Weymouth did a fantastic job of turning my husband’s shirts into cherished blankets. She had quite the task of turning about 40 shirts into 3 blankets. She matched the shirts up perfectly. She kept in communication with me throughout the entire process. It is very emotional looking at the finished blankets.
